The Mid Term Review meeting was hosted by Newcastle University, 17-18th July 2014 at the Jurys Inn Hotel, Gateshead Quays. The meeting was attended by the project Scientific Officer Gratiela Dobrita and an independent evaluator Prof Christos Panagiotidis, alongside all members of the consortium and associate partners from NewGene and CPI . The coordinator Anne Dickinson presented the progress of the project and each fellow gave a ten minute presentation on their scientific and training activities, as well as a scientific oral poster presentation. During the meeting the fellows also had the opportunity to meet with the evaluators to discuss their experiences within the network in terms of training, progress and impact on their future careers.

The Transferable Skills Programme was hosted by Newcastle University, 21-25th July 2014. The programme involved a number of internal and external training facilitators who delivered training on a number of topics including effective networking, communication skills, entrepreneurialism and social media skills.

The European fellows were given the opportunity to explore the North East during periods in which there were no training commitments.

The sixth of our 6 monthly consortium meetings was held within Frauenklinik Maistraße, part of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), München on 29th January 2015. The clinic and outpatient clinic for gynaecology and obstetrics is a maternity hospital and an internationally recognised Centre for the treatment of gynaecological cancers. The meeting was hosted by Dr Raymund Buhmann, Associate Partner. The fellows presented their work and results to date and the partners gave an update on the work package progress. There were 25 members of the consortium present at the meeting.

Project Final Conference, Regensburg 15-16 March 2016 and International GvH GvL Conference, Regensburg 2016. This was the final meeting for a number of the ESR's, many of whom leave the project in April 2016.This meeting was a great opportunity to show case the project results and highlights.
